February 17, 2016 the Kent County Volunteer Fighters Association celebrated their 1000 meeting at the the Felton Fire Station. Sussex County Volunteer Firefighters Association President Ron O'Neal- Millsboro, and 2nd Vice President Terry Jester- Memorial, presented Kent County President Earle Dempsey- Magnolia, with a plaque and a resolution. A large attendance was present to bestow plaques of recognition on the Kent County Assoc.
