Memorial's Dick Caldwell named Sussex Firefighter of the Year - Carlisle Fire Co. of Milford

Memorial Fire Co.’s Richard Caldwell named Sussex County Firefighter of the Year At the January meeting of the Sussex County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association, Richard “Dick” Caldwell of the Memorial Fire Co., of Slaughter Beach was presented with the Association’s Firefighter of the Year Award. Mr. Caldwell is the last Charter Member of the Memorial Fire Company joining upon it’s reorganization in 1957. He has served on many committees including all committees that had to do with construction or renovations of Memorial’s Fire Stations. He served many years as an Administrative Officer and has served 40 years a Chaplain. He was also named Chief Emeritus of the Fire Company.
