Advance Collaps Rescue Training - Dagsboro, Delaware

On October 15, 2010 the Sussex County Technical Rescue Team started the first part of a Technician Level Collapse Course & FEMA Rescue Specialist course. The class was held in Dagsboro, De by Collapse Rescue Systems. The house was donated to us for training by the Hudson family. In this part of the class the team learned how to identify hazards, and erect rescue shoring to stabilize a structure. During the last day of training the house was collapsed and it was the team’s objective to stabilize and enter the structure to rescue manikins that were placed throughout the house prior to the collapse.
