The end of the Delmarva Firemens Convention ended with its annual parade. Laurel was named the Best Appearing Delaware Company. Millsboro was second. Laurel also received honors for the best Appearing Aerial Device and Ambulance. Magnolia received an award with their Engine also. Ellendale's 1950 ALF was named Best Appearing Engine in it's catagory also.
