Fire Depts Assist Sussex Safekids - Sussex Tech

Sussex Safekids hosted Second Safekids Day of the Summer
On August 10th Sussex Safekids hosted their second Safekids Day of the Summer. This event took place at Sussex Tech and was targeted at Boys and Girls Clubs, Church Groups and Daycares.
An estimated 400 children showed up throughout the morning for the interactive events. The Delaware State Fire School assisted with Fire Escape Planning, Emergency Calling and Water Rescue Activities.
Special thanks to the Millsboro and Georgetown Fire Companies, Georgetown EMS, as well as the Laurel Fire Dept. Cadets who assisted in making the event a success.
