At the October Meeting of the Sussex County Volunteer Firefighters Association the annual installation of officers took place. Bill Buckaloo of Lewes was honored as out going President of the County Association and he passed the gavel to Todd Reilly of Blades. First Vice President will be Jay Jones of Ellendale and Steven Deery of Indian River will act as Second Vice-President. The Chief's Association also installed their officers. Penuel Barrett of Georgetown will be President. Andy Johnson of Roxana will be First Vice-President and William Buckaloo of Lewes will be Second Vice-President. The County Fire Police provided the Presentation of the Colors and installed Edward Schaeffer of Lewes as their President, Clay Yocum of Greenwood will be First Vice-President and Tim Coverdale will be Second Vice-President. The County Ambulance Association installed their officers. Jill Brittingham, of Dagsboro, was installed as President, Jim Cina of Bridgeville will be First Vice-President and Skip Millman of Mid-Sussex will be Second Vice-President. The Blades Vol. Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary did an outstanding job providing dinner.
