2014 Firefighter of the Year Award

At the February Mtg of the Association Laurel's Biff Lee was named the 2014 Firefighter of the Year. Biff joined the Laurel Fire Dept. in 1971 and served until the time of his untimely passing in Dec. of 2014. He was a Past President and served as Rescue Capt. In 1990 he was elected to the House of Representatives and served until 2012. In that time, there was no piece of legislation the was for the benefit of emergency services that did not have Biff's name attached.
